Mission
The mission of La Plaza is to:
- Expand capacity, opportunities and prosperity for minority-owned businesses in Kent and Sussex County.
- Foster business and financial empowerment for communities of color.
- Train leaders among young professionals and entrepreneurs to prepare them as influential individuals, agents of change, and role models in the community in order to increase their political and economic power.

Building success
La Plaza aims to help multicultural entrepreneurs start and expand their businesses.
Since 2021, La Plaza has served more than 300 Latino businesses in Kent and Sussex County through business training, workshops, coaching and events.
