
Mission
The mission of La Plaza is to:
- Expand capacity, opportunities and prosperity for Latino and minority-owned businesses in Kent and Sussex County.
- Foster business and financial empowerment for Latinos, immigrants and communities of color.
- Build leadership among young professionals and entrepreneurs to prepare them as influencers, change agents and role models in the Latino community, to increase political and economic power.

Vision
La Plaza’s vision is to improve opportunities, business savvy and prosperity for Latino and minority-owned businesses.

Building success
La Plaza aims to help multicultural entrepreneurs start and expand their businesses.
Since 2021, La Plaza has served more than 300 Latino businesses in Kent and Sussex County through business training, workshops, coaching and events.
